Three-Minute Stressbuster


You are about to steal 3 minutes for yourself. Don't worry - you're worth it! 

Do you have a timer on your phone? Set it for one minute intervals. 

Focus for one minute on each of these three items:

Positive Emotions - Let G-d direct your mind to anything at all that gives you a positive feeling of well-being, self-esteem, calmness, joy, reminiscence. This may include things in the present that you can see, hear, feel, taste or smell; ideas that come to you; positive memories from the past or premonitions that may come to you about something nice in the future. 

Gratitude - Think only about things that you have that you are grateful for in your life. They can be large things like your family, job, health, home, friends, accomplishments; or they can be "small" items such as the sky, birds, trees, or certain possessions that are yours.

Confidence and Faith - Use the next period of time to refuse to worry about or doubt anything that comes into your mind. Just breath your Faith into each moment that comes or into whatever thoughts that come to your mind. Focus strongly on your belief that G-d is with you and that you can trust that He can and will help you with anything and everything that comes up.
